Myself…

Over the past 15 years of working in the IT profession, I have encountered a large array of technology, and have seen multiple ways it can go right or wrong. Though I regard myself a generalist in IT, I would consider some of my highest technical proficiency to fall into the areas of infrastructure, systems administration, virtualization, and ERP. Yet, I’ve worked in areas ranging from networking, to cloud systems, to coding, and everything in-between.

I would consider myself a ‘born and bred’ technologist, working with computers in high school, to earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Computing and Information Systems, to a Masters of Science in Internet Information Systems. I have also earned several certifications including VCP6.5-DCV and multiple MCPs, to non-technical certifications such as ITIL:Practitioner.

Beyond my technical background, I enjoy mentoring and public speaking. I have given presentations for several organizations such as the national Syteline User Network, and have given guest lectures at my alma mater.
